Welcome to another Iowa-based source. Although many days I am on overload with digital ditties. My primary daily is the delivered Cedar Rapids Gazette as I am tactile. (Bless the hardworking carrier, Laura). The stellar reporting on environmental issues has my attention. My other tactile read is The Storm Lake Times Pilot. Always buy (only $1.00) at the Early Casey's, got one last Saturday. Yes, one of my little diversions driving across Iowa. Thanks Doug for another informative read.
Schools are the center of life in Iowa? Doubtful at best. Maybe wishful reminiscing about the past. We’ve gone from near the top to mediocre and declining. School districts are racing to four day per week schedules and parroting the statehouse talking points without a shred of actual data.

Good luck with ISU. All the best
This is great news! There are lots of stories to uncover in Ames and at ISU..
