This straight from the dystopian, end-of-the-world fiction books I used to read (or listen to) to escape. I no longer read/listen to them. Call me naive, but I never thought they'd become reality. At least, not for a few lifetimes. This is terrifying, Doug.
Um, I believe congress has its share of loonatics, but DAMN their passing the buck on this one will have “the end of the world as we know it” a guaranteed outcome. I watched too much Battlestar Galactica in the early 2000’s. I’m scared shitless!😳🤯
Doug, I naturally have mixed feelings about the info in this post, but I was delighted to see your use of a photo by our fellow IWC columnist Jason Walsmith rather than a stock image.
The pioneering research innovators of A.I. all submitted a signed letter to Congress, asking to be supervised and regulated. They feared the scenario described in this piece. Congress of course deferred, determining the matter required further study, and was premature, too early to stifle a fast growing, lucrative industry with seemingly unlimited potential for developing vaccines or cures for diseases. Us.

And I thought this was going to be a response to Senator Ernst walking in the cemetery sorry not sorry about telling us we're all going to die.
If AI's forecast is correct, then Trump was also correct when he said we'll never have to vote again.
